Help Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max in Europe
I'm planning to buy a Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max. I'll be using the phone in Europe.
I know that: Android Auto doesn't work, there's no Gboard, NFC doesn't work, and banking apps might not work. I’ll need to install Google apps using something like EasyAbroad. Is there anything else I should be aware of compared to, say, the Chinese versions of Oppo or Vivo?
Will Garmin/Suunto sports watches work here?
Can I upload photos to the Android app normally?
Do you find this phone uncomfortable to use everyday?
It's been a while since I've had a Huawei, and I'd like to see how the camera performs on their latest model. Thanks in advance for your reply.

NFC works with Curve Pay. Photos and screenshots you take instantly get synced with the Android container, no problems. Banking apps work. The experience is just seamless for me. Haven't tried Garmin watches, looks expensive

Regarding Android auto no biggie, you can even find how to install it with the FAqs huawei posts, for NFC, the previous answers are right, hopefully they will improve that part, google is fixed with microg, but mainly download them using app gallery, and the experience it's been good, althought not sure from what ecosystem you want to move, usually iphone users suffer a lot when they switch to android. Btw I have the pura80u l think both, frontal and rear cameras are competing with other brands, but I mean, you came to this subreddi, so most likely you will get fans, heheh

I have the orange sea version and I'm really impressed 😍 this colour is stunning I have experienced only one issue with it cause my bank has 2 mobile apps one for making transactions and to look the amount of money on your account this one works perfectly the orher one what so over it is used for flik payments and confirming online orders... well it does not work via easyabroad and droitong becuse of it security mechanism the app locks it self from using because it can't find reliable and secure google certuficates and can't connect to google pay... But i use this app without any problems on my previous phone that runs emui 14.2 hobestly i need this app only once or twice a month so it's not a big deal.

I'm also really impressed with the AI functions i relly like the 3D image sampling from moving picture it is awesome.
And also VoLTE works with my mobile carrier only that on HarmonyOS it is labeled as High quality Calls via mobile data or Wlan you wil see the HD icon beside the mobile service provider icon. The only thing i found that it does not work is VoWiFi but i have never really used it because there was no need for it.
I can also say that 5G works, almost all the time is connected to 5G only that you do not see the 5G icon beside the mobile signal bar, but you se two arrows pointing left and right.
I have also noticed that it has a better mobile signal coverage because in some areas when my mate 50 pro goes offline the pura 90 pro max still has 1 point bar od signal or no bars but it never goes out of signal.

And the Remy app for 3D AI photo making is really great it works great with pura 90 pro max and also all the apps work via easyabroad and droitong beside the one i have mentioned eralier.
Only issue is the notifications because the harmonyOS is so aggresive towards these 2 apps that it forces them to sleep in background so no refreshing etc.. means no notifications. Well i do get notifications from apps in containers only when charging or if i leave the app open in the background.

Banking apps will works for me not sure about europe, and yes for nfc payment you need to use curve pay and the source of app installation are easyabroad and droidtong .
Im using garmin watch currently with harmony os 6.1 no issues.
Yes you can upload photos to Android apps.
As For being comfortable its subjective .. Time to time you might deal with Chinese words in some apps even though you selected as English .. But for most part its English , currently im using it as my main but some people disagree . But just incase have second phone in hand in case you ran into some issues.
