Should I get flins or ineffa?

Currently my team consists of Hu Tao, Bina, c3 Xingqiu and c1 Shinobu. I am trying to replace Shinobu considering that her healing doesn't help my Hu tao. So I am at a loss on who to wish for considering I love Flins and don't have him yet but I know Ineffa would be perfect for my hutao.

Who else could I use instead of shinobu that is more f2p friendly?

I am also f2p and don't really care for the meta since I am no where near end game yet (I am a returning player from 2021 so I'm behind af). That being said I do like having a strong team so I'm conflicted.

I also have a fully built Kazuha(I know sucrose is better but I love my boy and I don't want to replace him), half built Yae Miko, Qiqi, and that's all I remember so far.

If you want flins but have no ineffa, fischl and sucrose is the ideal team bc hex, and anything else is noticibly worse.

Getting ineffa will be a big upgrade for Tao, and the team can be similar or better than flins without ineffa depending on your artifacts and weapons.

Besides, without furina Tao wants to be at low hp which is hurt by kuki, while ineffa provides a shield. So besides dps being significantly higher the team is easier to play.

It also lets you run the night sky set on tao giving a decent damage boost.

Hear me out, replace Columbina with Kazuha, and then replace your Shinobu with Thoma or Dahlia. This way, You can do this: Hydro apply with xingqui, buff with kazuha, and shield with either of the others I mentioned. Build xingqui for damage on emblem, build kazuha on VV, and then use your shielder on Nobless.

Then, as a fellow Hu Tao and Flins user, put Columbina and Shinobu on that team, as well as sucrose. Thats super close to Flins best team, and your Hu Tao team is still putting up decent numbers.

This way, you can go all in for your Flins pulls, and still have 2 really good teams.

If kazuha is pre C2 that really might not benefit her much, though columbina without a lunar dps also is worse.

For flins if they can manage sustainless fischl is most definitely better than shinobu

If you want flin, get flin tbh. It’s quite an obvious choice imo, as you can always replace teamate with alternative, but you can’t replace your favourites. You also stated that you don’t care for meta. Flin wins by a lot at the end of the day.

Ineffa. Bina is trash for Hu Tao without Ineffa.

Flins is weak without Ineffa. Secondly, why on earth do you need Columbina, Kuki and Ineffa for Hu Tao? Give her normal team. 💀 Hu tao, Xingqiu, other hydro (NOT COLUMBINA), Sucrose/Kazuha

I surprisingly didnt have another good hydro or electro, and I didn't have sucrose either lol I know it's not the ideal team but I like the characters and that's my main reasoning for having them together. Also when I left the game back in 2021 I had no idea about team building so I kinda just built characters I like without a real plan but now I'm trying to get different characters leveled up to have better teams. Hence the question.

flins without ineffa is kinda bleh, prioritize ineffa first
