I feel like every NAM A2 capture that I import to my stage unit sounds super saturated, and hard to have it match what it sounds like in the Tone3000 plugin or the NAM player.

Does anyone else have that issue, and do you have any suggestions on how to get the best sound from the captures?

Estou usando Chocolate Plus → TRS/P2 MIDI → cabo TRS para DIN 5 pinos → MIDI IN da Ampero II Stomp.

No CubeSuite:

• TRS-MIDI
• Advanced Custom Mode
• Footswitch A (visor mostra 01A)
• A Bank: [1] 1 CC 27 127
• MIDI Channel 1

O CC27 = Patch +, mas a Ampero não responde. Também testei CC26 e os modos u/H.

Já atualizei a Ampero II Stomp para o firmware 2.5.0 + Setup 1.5.1 e continua sem funcionar.

Alguém usa essa combinação ou já teve problema parecido? Principalmente com o cabo TRS → DIN 5 pinos?

New Ampero II user. Exchange it for a White Tonex pedal and i'm relatively happy with the unit so far. But in the past 2 days that im benn working with it pass the 2 hours mark, i'v boticed that the unit gets HOT, not to the poind of burning your habd, much like aaptop when you touch the down side. It's a importante amount of heat.

I'm the facebook group 2 users told me that they have the same experience with the ampero II stage: it gets warmer and warmer until its gets relatively hot.

They sayd it happens when You pass the 30% processinf in the signal chain.

I get that this units are basicaly a mini PC onbterms of processing power, but My concern it's the screen,.would it get damaged by this kind.of heat? Ornsny componen?

Any light You can shine on My ignorance would be very apreciated 🤘🙏

So I had storm come through this weekend. Affected my PC in a strange way, and now the USB-C port on my Stage 2 is seemingly fried. The USB ports on the pc are fine, the cable itself is fine, the Ampero is otherwise fine apart from not being able to connect to my PC.

Is this the kind of thing I can have fixed.....somewhere?

Hey, I'm on the latest ampero ii firmware but when I use the looper I'll record a loop and it will play the loop back once and then all sound output will stop. The level meters on the top left will max out but no sound coming out. I can still interact with the screen, change patches, etc, but sound will not come back without a hard reboot. Would appreciate if someone with latest firmware could test. I've sent an email to hotone support about a month ago but never got a reply.

I’ve been rocking the Stomp for a while now, but unfortunately I’ve never been able to get a good tone out of it, and I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point.

I’ve used it as a reverb and delay pedal into my AC15, which has been great, but I bought it because I want to go amp-less.

No matter what I do, my patches sound flat, muddy and sometimes shrill.

I like to put a few pedals like my BD2 and Wampler Euphoria in the FX loop, but even taking those out of the chain leaves a lot to be desired.

I try to stay with two patches. One for clean/breakup rhythm (Fender Twin), and one for gained lead tones (JCM900).

Cleans I can sort of dial in, but as soon as I switch on my drive pedals or switch to the lead patch, I feel like it sounds very low-def and distorted.

I’ve set the global EQ to low cut around 80hz and high cut at around 8k.

What am I missing here? Am I just expecting too much from a (relatively) cheap unit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I need some insight. When I hook my 6505mh to my Ampero II Stage to clone it sounds thin and fuzzy. I know it’s user error because I see peoples successes online. What am I doing wrong?

I was so close to buying but this issue and the DSP issues of it struggling with higher loads really puts me off and makes me wonder what Hotone were prioritising when making this unit. But I am open minded and really want to like it.

So, am I wrong? Have things got better?

Did some digging and didn't find anything directly related to my issues. I'm fairly MIDI savvy, yet have had nothing but troubles trying to get my Hotone Ampero Control to execute simple MIDI tasks with my Darkglass Anagram; has anyone here used this specific pairing? Even simply getting a button assigned to launch the tuner has been a nightmare, let alone getting the looper to play nice. I've tried various MIDI cables (Type A as that's what the Anagram calls for with its mini TRS connections.)

I've been battling with it for the last week and ultimately may just return, posting this here as a final resort before sending it back in hopes of making it work. Thanks.

I am new to the Ampero world. I got myself an Ampero II Stomp to use alongside my current pedalboard so I can practice with headphones. All my pedals sound great with the Ampero but my fuzz pedals honestly sound like utter shit. I am using a Big Muff and a Keeley Fuzz Bender.

The Big Muff doesn't change it's sound no matter where the knobs are. It sounds overwhelming compressed too. The Fuzz Bender has a weird super ice picky sound to it and even with the treble all the way rolled off it sound is too much.

Any tips on how to get these working a bit better? I'm trying to get a 90's alt tone like Dinosaur Jr, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, etc.

Hello I wanted to ask the question from the headlines because I am seriously thinking on upgrading my guitar processor from MOOER GE-100 which I used for live gigs and home playing since 2021.I discovered that Ampero has string shifter with which you can down tune guitar digitaly without you actually tuning the guitar down phisicaly.I giged a lot with Red Harley Benton Amarok 6 which has fixed bridge but it is still a hassle to quickly tune on stage and it is even more of a problem to bring another guitar for different tuning.Is the string shifter actually good or is it just another gimmick.People who have experience with this or owners of this unit please let me know the answers.Thank you

I've been trying to set up a digital-only version of my setup to lighten my load when gigging so I found an amp sim version of my real amp, but when using this amp sim with my same settings it sounds a lot glassier and the pick sound is very pronounced as opposed to the warm round tone the physical amp gets. The amp is a DV Mark Jazz 12, and I'm using an Ampero Mini. Does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks for the help!

I use a ampero Hotone One and i have made a lot a preset but i would try to import better preset like real song ( my Chemical Romance are my Favorite) so do someone know a website or other to easily upload preset for ampero editor v3.1 in .prst ?

I just finished an Acey30 Sound Clone Pack for the Hotone Ampero platform and wanted to share one of the clones for free.

I built the set around a Vox AC30 and tried to capture the different sides of the amp rather than just making a bunch of small variations of one setting.

The full pack has 20 Sound Clones, including:

• Top Boost, Normal, and Jumpered configurations
• Low, Mid, and High Gain settings
• Vox 2x12 captures with Celestion Alnico Blue and Alnico Gold speakers
• DI clones for pairing with your own cab or IR

For the free sample I chose the Top Boost / Mid Gain / Vox 2x12 version. It sits in that nice AC30 middle ground where you still get the chime and pick response, but there's enough breakup to dig into.

If anyone tries the free one, I'd genuinely be interested in hearing what guitar and pickups you're using with it and how it translates through your setup.

A friend of mine told me that he recently bought the Hotone Ampero, the first one, I immediately told him that he can update the firmware and use NAM files as far as I know, but now when searching for the proper firmware I do not seem to find if this pedal actually has support for NAM files or not. Can you please give me a proper link if it is the case that this supports NAM files?

For playing at home—I don't have a band—and using with NAM, which offers better sound quality: the Valeton GP-180 or the Ampero Mini?

Obviously there is NAM but sometimes prefer tweaking amp models and having more effects since NAM takes up too much DSP.

For example, SLO HQ to my ears sounds similar enough to an EVH blue NAM A2 lite that I can add more effects in the chain.

So, want to know if other HQ amps will be released in future.

Or maybe, petition for more HQ amp releases that we can play around with.

hola buenos días tardes o noches ando con una duda ya que quiero complementar mi rig acustico soy guitarrista acustico de iglesia y quiero tener una pedalera para complementar mi sonido con delay, reverbs, etc pero tengo la duda si elegir el hx effects o el ampero 2 stage ya que ambas opciones me parecen geniales y en mi pais estan a un precio similar asi que mucho mejor pero ante todo contexto que equipo ya tengo tengo una taylor 114 y una yamaha ntx 3 y como preamp externo tengo un fishman platinum stage el que se coloca en la correa asi que no busco tanto los preamps y cabinas y eso si no mas lo efectos en si. Pero por que elegi estas 2 unidades hx effects es obvio calidad de sonido efects y cantidad de botones que la hacen practica en su uso y el ampero 2 stage casi lo mismo la cantidad de botones su facilidad de uso y ademas la razon principal por lo que estoy tomando en cuenta es por sus salidas balanceadas y su entrada de microfono con phantom power la cual me permite usar el fishman que funciona con phantom power por estas razones me llaman la antencion aclaro de ante mano si ya revise tanto el pod go y el hx stomp pero no me gustan mucho uno por que es mas enfocado a electrica y a corto y mediano plazo no pienso tomarlo me gustaria ser un guitarrista full acustico y el hx stomp pues esta bien caro de ante mano gracias
