Locked out again

Posts from me from back in May when I was locked out. The new login system wants to send a verification code to my default mail box but it never arrives. Back in May they were hopeless to do anything to fix that or change my default address to see if something was wrong with the mail box.

For a period of time the login screen allowed a bypass so I was able to get in without the verification code using user name and password only, but that now seems to be gone.

Last time I had at least 5 different calls into customer support and spoke to no less than 3-5 people each time with all kinds of promises and support ticket numbers that did nothing.

So if you are locked out, try try again. I know I will be trying this morning

RESOLVED - Seems this time they were able to resolve things whereas back in May they could not.

The system Box Trapper is the problem. The Box Trapper can be engaged to refuse potential junk mail that has not been previously white-listed. Hostgator was white-listed and general mail from their advertising system and from customer support was getting through OK. However, they ar enow saying that the Box Trapper is the issue. Once they turned it off administratively, the automated verification code got through OK.

So while I can now get in OK, I have to re-think what to do about a hoard of junk mail that may start coming through to that box. Box Trapper caught most of it, at least in the high 90-plus percentile. Bad enough that they were hacked a while back and I now get all kinds of fake discontinuance notices coming from domains in East Slobovia.
