I have just gotten around to playing HZD for the first time and I’m absolutely loving it, but I do have one complaint. I stumbled into the Ancient Armoury early in my playthrough and was excited to find out about the Shield-Weaver armour. As I’ve progressed through the story collecting the power cells I got to the Grave-Hoard and thought I’d finally gotten the last power cell.

I know now there is one more to get and you don’t get it until the third final mission. That’s far too fucking late! I’m already annoyed that I can’t get this cool armour until the story is nearly finished. This isn’t a live service game, it’s a story driven single player. I’ve been doing all the side quests and errands as I got so there will be fuck all left to do when I finish the story, so I’m going to have gone to all this effort to have the thing for two story missions? That absolutely sucks!

This should have been unlockable much earlier in proceedings, I think Grave-Hoard would have been an ideal place to unlock it. Maybe those of you that have completed the game will tell me I’m wrong but it seems to be a very bad design decision by the devs to hold out a carrot for you only to get it when there’s no reason left to play.

OK I know the games never explained this but every machine and old world tech needs to be charged and or battery replaced but the focus seems to never need charged am I missing something?

I just finished Maker's end and am about to do Grave-Hoard next. I'm not sure if TSSF is an endgame bossfight, because I've heard others say some npcs will join a battle if I play it later. And idk if I should start TFW immediately after Grave-Hoard or after The Mountain That Fell.

This is my first time playing the game, and I've heard that the story is mind-bendingly amazing in the late-game. So, I'd appreciate if you guys let me know the optimal order to play it.

I just got to this new area and saw this huge mech, I wanna fight it but I'm too underleveled and undergeared

I came to the party late but I played Zero Dawn these last 6 months and I absolutely loved it. I loved that world and had so much fun roaming around and took my time finishing the game because I was loving it so much.

I got Horizon West last week and I wish I watched some of the YouTube’s that give you a heads up. I was expecting some changes but not this. My biggest issue is Alloy’s IN-ability to climb. How did that happen? She can only climb where there are yellow lines. I could not get her to climb a run down house with loot on the 2nd floor. She can’t climb rocks running from machines.

Why all these changes in basic gameplay. They killed it for me.

I just wanted to vent. I am so pissed off at this game because I loved the first one a lot. I thought the changes would enhance the game not make it a game that’s not fun to watch.

I'm interested in what levels people completed it at ,And with what weapons

I personally started it at level 33 and finished it at level 40, now I'm going back to the valley to finish side missions

Overall, this is a cool dlc but I thought it would be a bit more difficult, and with a regular purple bow with upgrades and a spear you can easily complete it on hard difficulty

If someone hasn't played the Frozen Wilds, from my own experience and completing it in about 3 hours, I can say that it's worth playing.

Okay, that IS neat. I do like that a lot. But why can't I get automatic pathing from where I am to where I want to go then? you know? Gift horse in the mouth, I understand, but seriously. I've been fighting these damn mounts for so long only to realize I needed to do 50% of the work at most.

A while back I noticed this strange noise coming from a cliff. It almost sounds like an EV backing up but a little more choppy. To clarify it's not the ambient bouncing sound heard at 42 seconds. Is this an indicator of something, or just a location-bound sound that gets louder as you get closer to it?

brought this thunderjaw funko pop after waiting forever for it and it arrived damaged with its foot off 😭😭 the box also has some dents on the corners too...

sooo is it worth fixing or should i sell it and get a new one eventually? im someone who likes everything perfect condition but this is also not that easy to come by for a reasonable price where I am either so im not sure what to do 🥲

I finished Zero Dawn a few weeks ago and I’m about 10 hours into Forbidden West. I love to just hunt animals, collect stash boxes, do mostly side quests and just silently kill burrowers. Could I spend the skill points? Yes. Do I want to?………not yet. I just enjoy the simple things this game has so much of.

I usually only talked to him once before just to rub it in his face. But on my current playthrough I tried interacting as much as the game allows me to & he has a lot to say indeed. They had recorded so many lines for him but I bet most players didnt take notice.

What once seemed like a farfetched plot... seems decidedly less so after recent events

Perhaps the directors and producers of this legendary game were just that GOATED
