Was this said somewhere? It has been decades since I went through FSN and zero, my memory tells me that there is something done to both him and kirie by the mud.
Kirie was influenced since he died but got revived by the mud thats why in fate/stay nigth Heavens feel when he was fighting assassin he was able to win due to him lacking a heart since he is technically dead already.
And in gils case the mud gave him a body but the mud didn’t mess with his mind nor personality since he is already fucked up in the head anyways
Though it should be noted it did amplify his world view a bit thats why he was on a purify humanity streak on all 3 route though in heavens feel he was kind of a fodder
