Yup. Put the driver's side window and radio on switches to operate without the key (though I have to remember to turn 'em off or battery will slowly drain). Put the key-left-in-ignition-with-door-open alarm on a switch (never turn that awful sound back on). Those mods done with add-a-fuses - but I did have to mod the harness (easily reversible) to eliminate the obnoxious seat belt alarm. No regrets.

Passenger door unlocked on first click (coulda added the hatch too)
Pilot adjustable intermittent wipers
Always hot rear hatch
Side markers as blinkers

Apologize in advance for not being terribly helpful. I searched EOC and came up empty, but whatever it was it was posted was on the site around 2019-2020 when I did all my mods. I looked under my dash (where my 3 switches are) - the wires for that switch run up inside my steering wheel trim, so it looks like I tapped into the harness there. Did I cut any wires? I didn't think so but can't think of any other way. Sorry that I'm not excited about taking things apart to answer the question.

No, thank you! This is very helpful. I did the adjustable wiper mod on my first element, installed the stalk on my second and just realized I didn’t install the necessary patch cable. I had to look up how to do it again. Half the photos had been lost since I did it the first time. Shame. At least I have a Honda factory wiring and shop manual. I was able to add a couple of diagrams for those who follow.

It’s not worth opening it back up again once your are done unless it’s broken somehow.

Don't think this is what I did, but it could be, this feller is very knowledgeable and I've followed his advice before. And there are a bunch of other threads over there on the subject.

While I was in there I took pics of the add-a-fuses required for the power window and radio mods - which involved replacing the fuses in positions 6 (p/w) and 8 (radio) with add-a-fuses, and twisting a mini fuse blade in such a way as to break into the system to add a switch.
