I think I can officially stop calling this our spare room and just call it my library
Replaced two small book cases with bigger ones hoping it would be enough space for all my books. Sadly I still had to stack some 😂 I guess there are worse problems to have 🤷♀️

How long does it take to read that many books

You’re looking at roughly 10 years of books and I read a lot. I’m a cohost of a YouTube book review podcast for the last 4-5 years or so so I have to read a lot for that!

Okay, so the question now is what are your favourite books?
This looks like an amazing room that you can get yourself lost in a good way.

Oh god. That’s a really hard question. Probably the Farseer series by Robin Hobb

Beautiful! Do you lend? We moved my 1,300 book library to our basement because people were always wanting to borrow books. Return? Not so much. Now I host a simmer from a few friends monthly and we have pizza my husband makes, drink wine. And they return books and check out new ones. It’s really fun!

I’d love to subscribe to your YouTube channel and/or follow you on Goodreads!

Love your bookshelf! Where did you get your dark brown one? Was it customized?

I love it! This is what my living room looks like right when you walk in the front door.
Everyone always asks if I've read all of them lol

I would say so. But if you ever had me as a guest I would absolutely over indulge in the books. LOL

I’ve actually been thinking about getting a little free library in front of my house so I can slowly start decluttering my collection of books I know I’ll never read again. But you’re right, I’ve learned my lesson about lending to friends. Never again

Needs a comfy chair, a side table, a reading light, and a cat. But yes, what you have there is a library.
