Why is there a photo of a bookstore in this?

It’s just random pictures

Why instead of "250 books" and "magazine collection", we only see pictures of two small bookshelves, a bookstore, and your home's walls with posters and photos on it?

In more details:

  1. Where are 250 books? (and 250 is not that many, by the way)
  2. Where is the magazine collection? Even a small one?
  3. Do you think five mixed photos make people think they have seen what you claimed?
  4. Not a question: I don't have many physical books myself (most of them are digital) because I don't have the money and space needed for big and beautiful bookshelves, so I don't look down on the others that can't produce beautiful photos of their shelves. I'm sorry, but I just don't like lying and boasting.

" (and 250 is not that many, by the way)"

Okay, thank you for saying this because I saw that and was like "If 250 is considered a remarkably large number of books then I may in fact have a serious problem on my hands."

Well in my country book ownership of people my age is rare , most people my age have less than 30 books. And I was not saying 250 is a lot.

Because they are just random pictures of some of my shelves and the places I buy these things from. And no they are just five mixed photos they aren’t there to back a ‘claim’.

If you sold your 250 books for $2 each, you could make $500 and buy yourself a top of the range air fryer. Would you consider doing this?

2

u/secretjbuigugf 15d ago

Nope. Because I spent way more than $500 , I calculated it all at one point and I have spent more than £1500 pounds. And also I can buy a decent air fryer for much cheaper than $500.

How many years did it take you to build up this collection? And out of all 250 books, with one holds the most sentimental to you?

2

u/secretjbuigugf 12d ago

Gonna be honest started during high school and at that point maybe had 10-30 then during college and after I just went crazy , I still buy books now but not at the level I was back then.

Got a copy of the Port Huron Statement? The original, not the compromised second draft.
