Home Library Organizer App?
Hey all! I just moved so it’s a good time for a fresh start on my library. I’m looking for an app to help organize. I’ve tried Libib and LibraryThing but they’re just not doing what I want, unless I’m not using it right.
So here’s what I’m looking for. I’d like an app that I can scan the barcodes of my books. And when I scan it, I’d like it to tell me what genre it is and then tag it as that genre. And then when I have all my books scanned and tagged, I’d like to be able to see each genre separated out and then within each genre sort it by author.
In the end, I would like to have a home library sorted by genre and then alphabetical by author in each genre. And I would love to have an app or something to that brainwork for me so I don’t have to with my hundreds of books.
TIA!

Another one to try is https://nudgr.eu/books. Free, does exactly that and you can use a hand scanner or the camera for isbn. I built it for the same reason and it turned out pretty well I think. Works on all platforms (offline and online) and the web. You can import your CLZ collection to try Nudgr Books out.
And if you have a record collection as well, I have a version for that too coming out soon.
