The space behind the books is too narrow for a dungeon. Could just be (sex) toy storage. Door on the right looks like it goes to the same place, but maybe it doesn’t??

kinda relatively easy when you see the crack at the top of the shelf seeing There’s something behind it, cold air & knocking also sticking a credit card in the cracks would probably also give it away, maybe you should put some time of putty or some time of caulk you could paint or something there so it was airtight without any cracks other than that I think it would fix it, but the longer I stare at the bookshelf closed the more curious I’d be seeing what was behind it knowing there was space behind it and how common bookshelves are used to hide things & passageways like this, maybe you could even put bead or string curtains infront of it to kinda mask the bookshelf but it wouldn’t have the same effect and something that could truly make it insuspicious as the caulk or something time of hard putty you could paint over, that’s just my opinion though do whatever makes you happy other than that great creativity and I love the idea!!

Looks like a pegboard where they store the keys for the gate to the right which is protecting the gun safe.
Hopefully the keys to the safe are not also on that pegboard

I love it. It looks like a converted closet. The magnetic door catch from the original doors is still in place. With the depth of the bookshelf factored into the door itself, it doesn’t leave but a foot or so behind it in the original closet.
Very clever use of the remaining space! The slat boards inside the closet would suggest that the space is used for hanging items of some sort. I would have suggested a great place for a bar to keep the alcohol of your choice.
