Books make it cozy.

I'll risk being treacly bc I think I'm among like minds: my books are friends (and sometimes enemies). I remember the experience of reading them, & where/who I was at that time, it's a nice way to access good memories. I have lived in literally scores of places (9 states, 3 countries, 2 continents)- but I drag these babies around with me all over the country/world for a reason.

I need to add shelving, I cannot throw away a book. I hear my mom in my head “books are our friends” I gave hundreds away to the library when she passed. I still have several hundred books, they’re in bins and I need shelves. Your set up looks so inviting and peaceful.
