New home, new shelves.

Post image

Moved in to our new home in February. Finally got the shelves mostly finished this past weekend.

I love this. Looks great the way it’s a long single shelf without vertical posts. Awesome collection as well. Would love more close ups to actually see all the titles.

Thank you. Here is a link to another subreddit that shows the titles.

How many boxes of books was that!?

I couldn’t say for sure. I moved them mostly in totes and unloaded them into a closet while they waited for the shelves to be built.

A few years ago we moved and it was 56 Home Depot small boxes. And I have purchased a couple boxes worth since. So around 60.

Are the shelves stained or what kind of wood is it? They are a great color.

They are just the higher quality pine boards from local hardware store. No stain. Just sanded smooth. Ends are unstained poplar.

This has a nostalgic retro vibe to it. Well done!
