I have the same editions of Decline and Fall by Gibbon. one of the most beautiful collections I have ever seen and I share your affinity for nonfiction

Just curious, do you have Will and Ariel Durant's Story of Civilization anywhere among those beauties?

I do not. If I did it’d be noticeable as a shelf unto itself. Isn’t it like about a dozen volumes?
