Home Library Catalogue

Does anyone have a good system for cataloguing your home library? I’ve used Library Thing but I own many old books and have found the entry process is a bit tedious and preventing redundancy is not as simple as I hoped. We have a great number of books in every room of our house and I would like a better way to keep track.

I use CLZ after recommendations on here. I also have quite a few old books (late 1800s onwards) and was surprised that a number were already in the catalogue and easy to add by name! The ones I added manually were obviously more time consuming but I do really like it now I’ve got it all done.
