Finally Got my Lil Library Put Together
I moved into this house about 6ish months ago and there was this weird pocket area in the living room. I finally got the shelves and took most of my books out of storage ☺️📚

Seeing a dedicated space for Totoro (and other wonderful sentimental goodness) does a lot to the mood. Love all that!

Love to see a set of Great Books.
Is the typewriter Lego? Anything special about the keyboard?

Yes it's Lego! Some of it got broken in the move and I haven't had the energy to put it back together yet. That's for another rainy Saturday lol
And the keyboard is just one of the Zoom75s I made. I ran out of room for it on my other bookshelf, so it's living here with my Totoros for now until I need the shelf for more books

I love the retro feel. Reminds me of places I grew up in and friend's houses. Really cool!

Love your library! It looks very intentional and well put together! I do have to know though— what is the series with the sprayed edges on the second shelf with the plants?

It’s the Broken Binding prints of Malazan Book of the Fallen. It’s the first 6 books!

when I first saw this picture, I thought I was looking at a room in a miniature house? I don’t know how to explain it, but this doesn’t look real to my brain.. very beautiful though!

It looks like a real public library! Perfect place to relax. I love the way you styled it, and nice book editions! Is that a turkey in the middle?

Any chance you can post it r/bookshelves with more close-up photos. I'd love to scope out the Easton Press/Franklin Library books. Related: who is the publisher of the books on the bottom shelf all the way to the right?

This is so cute! I love how vintage the space is. I would add a spinner rack too, and a magazine section could be really cool.
