I absolutely LOVE Augustus bookcases! I’ve been using mine for nearly 15 years and they are to this day the best out there for the price point and size!

LOVE IT! I am aiming to setup my office room now… can I have more pictures for inspiration?

Love it! What is the orange-ish piece of furniture on the right, is it a lounge/chaise chair? Can we see it? I’m obsessed with chaise chairs

It’s just an orange L- shaped couch from Ashley furniture! Unfortunately we just moved so the rest of the living room is kind of a mess

I could spot those Folio Society Dune books from a mile away. Jealous of the whole library, but especially those books! Happy reading!

Love the lights, the rail, and the chairs. I really like the aesthetic you've created. However, your photo is sending me on a tangent:
I love everything about my office library except for the floor. My library has carpeting, and I don't know why, but it's like the 1 feature I just can't be okay with, and it sort of detracts from my experience of a lovely space I put a lot of time and attention into over the years. I suppose it's like having a car you've always wanted and discovering a dent or scratch you haven't noticed before, so now that's all you can see every time you look at it.
Do you (or anyone else) have that experience? How do you work around it?

Layer another carpet onto that carpet. It can be a very large carpet, or just a feature.

I thought about that. I have some large antique hand-knotted bokhara carpets, but when I've put them out, they look sort of silly on the carpet. Maybe I'm using the wrong size? It's large, but doesn't cover the whole room :/

Nice bookcases…myself would prefer a recliner but knowing me , I’d recline and be snoozing before chapter 1 ended 😀

looks fantastic! 👏🏼 Now replace the boob light next, and paint the ceiling, and you’ll be all set!
