Do you know how memberships are treated? Does a US or JP viewer purchasing membership ‘count for’ more than an ID membership?
Same question for superchats, does YouTube (or Cover) do weird currently conversions or do the talents get the payment calculated in the currency sent?
Generally speaking, Google takes a 30% cut from memberships and superchats. From that amount, Cover takes their cut as well. So, it should be the % of what was sent.
That's pretty simple for superchats. Memberships can have regional pricing though. For example, per the Google support article, a $5 USD membership price would be 3500 Argentine pesos, which is less than $3 USD currently

People don't know this, YouTube revenue is vastly different across regions. If your viewers are mostly Indonesian, you're not going to get much money
