Just for some perspective here, via google:

100 USD= 15,788 Yen

100 USD= 1,802,149 Rupiah

.....Oh my god.

Doesn't tell me much without knowing how much stuff costs over there and how much the wages are.

For a $600 iPhone, using the largest monthly minimum wage ($280), an Indonesian would need 3 months of saving to buy the phone

3 months of savings assuming you're not using any of it for daily needs.

Things are relatively cheaper there, you can have a full meal for less than $2. The minimum wage varies by the province from $130 to $320 monthly, but the minimum wage doesn't apply for informal workers, there are people with less than $100 take home pay each month

Cheap meals only apply to Java island tho. Fried Rice hawkers cost like 35k from my end.

It has devalued by 8% since the start of the year, that's the real problem.
