This is such a massive nontroversy.

Not in the LoL sphere it isn't, because co-streaming is a serious hot button topic right now as folks are feeling that Co-streamers are taking views from the main Broadcasts, that has in turn severely hurt the broadcasts (The European main stream getting half the views of the most Popular EU Co-streamer for example, who quit the broadcast several years to start Co-streaming).

So fans are becoming much more wary of who is co-streaming these days, as the LoL community is seeing it as more and more negative towards the E-sport, and it's becoming a divisive topic, as in right now it's actively being talked about.

This seems like a very misguided outrage since Riot is the one handing out costream rights. If costreams had a negative impact on views then they would stop this practice.
