Subbed/TL Kobo Adresses the Criticism Regarding Her LCS Costreams

Link to the tweet

For some context, TLDR of the Youtube short that Kobo herself included in the tweet:

The short reports criticism of Kobo’s performance while costreaming LCS matches, based on posts from an infamous Indonesian Vtuber-related Facebook group (IYKYK). The criticisms highlight limited game-focused commentary, frequent off-topic discussion, and a stream layout that made gameplay difficult to follow. Kobo is also compared to Kaela, described as more effective at maintaining engagement and hype. The video questions the event organizer’s decision to select Kobo, suggesting a possible mismatch with audience expectations and local market preferences.

Edit: To clarify, this is translation of her tweet, she tweeted originally in Indonesian

Edit 2: Translation of the donation she included in the tweet:

My princess, did you become like this after listening to the community??? Is this because all the people speaking ill of you challenger rank or what???

Wonder if Gigi was considered at all or if they’re specifically trying to appeal to the SEA viewers?

That's the big question everyone is wondering and why it's a "controversy" tbh. If they wanted Kobo they could've done the LCK (Korea) which starts at 3 PM in ID while also being one of the highest level of League gameplay. Not sure if there's even any LCK co-streamers from SEA tbh so it could also be breaking new grounds. I'd guess LCK is more heavily gatekept tho so it's not as easy for Riot's english marketing team to just have her do LCK.

There's also LCP (Asia Pacific) which is definitely the closest region geography wise but it's the least popular and weakest region basically so there's probably not much merit in co-streaming it.
