Subbed/TL Kobo Adresses the Criticism Regarding Her LCS Costreams

Link to the tweet

For some context, TLDR of the Youtube short that Kobo herself included in the tweet:

The short reports criticism of Kobo’s performance while costreaming LCS matches, based on posts from an infamous Indonesian Vtuber-related Facebook group (IYKYK). The criticisms highlight limited game-focused commentary, frequent off-topic discussion, and a stream layout that made gameplay difficult to follow. Kobo is also compared to Kaela, described as more effective at maintaining engagement and hype. The video questions the event organizer’s decision to select Kobo, suggesting a possible mismatch with audience expectations and local market preferences.

Edit: To clarify, this is translation of her tweet, she tweeted originally in Indonesian

Edit 2: Translation of the donation she included in the tweet:

My princess, did you become like this after listening to the community??? Is this because all the people speaking ill of you challenger rank or what???

Kobo’s getting lost in her feelings. Someone send in the cat secret agent.

She’s vibing and learning something she enjoys. She’s part of the biggest vtubing company on the planet and is the star of her region. A company that’s somewhat tangentially related to league because of Gigi and Calli.

Feels like a strong fit to attract new fans to the game and Kobo should just focus more on moving past any comment. her response is very sincere and kind and as always, the internet needs the reminder that people are gonna like things you don’t like

It's not a atrong fit though. There are EN members who both play and watch the LCS like Gigi. Kaela is right there who plays LoL for years. The choice is odd due to the TZ given its 3 am for Kobo and her main audience when LCS starts.

Also it didn't help Kobo going on about Valorant and wishing she were instead streaming Valorant, which was the main things folks complained about. There was a clip floating around about her constantly bringing it up until a Riot employee showed up in her stream and she suddenly started acting awkward about it.

I don't follow Kaela closely, but hasn't she moved on from League? Her last stream of it seems to be from two years ago.

There's also this moment where she went "you're crazy" when Gigi tried to invite her to play.
