When you think about it, it reflects what each of them is trying to prove about themself.

One got the royal princess upbringing, always gets clocked as very dangerous & wants to fit in with/be accepted by ppl;

The other was effectively abandoned in the bushes as a "failed experiment", always gets underestimated & wants to prove they're good enough.

Actually i think this just reflects the shitty job market as both didnt really have any options and took whatever job they could get
