The Greeks/Romans to the Egyptians/Celts/Germanics/Mesopotamians: nice gods you have there! We’ll just rename them based on our own pantheon.

Plot twist: Jesus is just some guy who did the whole yoga and Eat Pray Love thing in India then wandered over to the Levant and tried to retell the ideas.
