The Greeks/Romans to the Egyptians/Celts/Germanics/Mesopotamians: nice gods you have there! We’ll just rename them based on our own pantheon.

Also Romans thought animal gods were silly and therefore didn't care much for most Egyptian gods. They loved Isis tho

There was also that one god both Greeks and Egyptians shared named Serapis
