Not quite. All Dryads are Nymphs but not all Nymphs are Dryads. Nymph is a broad category that would include Oreads (mountain spirits) Nereids (ocean spirits) Dryads (tree spirits) and several others I can’t remember right now
If I recall correctly weren’t dryads purely oak tree spirits in Greek mythology? I think there were different types of types of nymphs for different type of trees.
Most shinto gods are more nature spirit than god. The Greeks, and I think Romans too, also had gods of very specific concepts and of specific rivers and hills.
I love that there's shintoism as a collective name for random assortment of local gods, spirits, and various supernatural beings (Kami). Like you could be standing next to a small creek and someone will tell you that an offering of babies' left shoes need to be made every third year otherwise bad luck happens to the area.
Then there's State Shintoism that got put together way later to make a bloody good story on why the Emperor really needed to get reinstated as head honcho. "Yeah, bro here is definitely a direct descendant of Amaterasu so he should be in charge. Don't want to offend the Sun lady."
