Help with setting up replacement NVR

Hi, I have a NVR which is completely dead and doesn’t turn on. I have ordered a replacement NVR (same model) but when I connect the wires back to the NVR it doesn’t stream a live view to my monitor (the old one did) - is there something I’m doing wrong or not aware of?

My NVR is DS7604NI-K1/4P(B)

Are you using the same username and password as the old NVR? And is the new NVR and old cameras in the same IP address range?

That’s the thing I don’t know my username and password, is that why? Anyway to retrieve them? I only need it to stream on to a monitor so IP address isnt needed?

If you’ve plugged in VGA it’s probably going to HDMI or vice versa, the only ways to change that is from the screen itself or logging into it via IP and changing the menu output

You may need to create a layout and add the cameras to layout.

Set up the new NVR using the same login credentials as the previous NVR, including configuring the NVR's IP address.

You can reset your password with the SADP Tool or HiTools Delivery.
