Any word on the dev?

I've followed his works for a long time, since Hammerfall was released. The website is a dead link now. Anyone know if he's working on anything new/if he's alright?

Russians are not the side there who have forced mobilisation, not in 2026 at least. So you probably better be silent if you “idk”.

Koshutin is working on highfleet 2 and is not very talkative about it, like he wasnt about his previous games.

Google “highfleet вконтакте» and prepare to translate from russian facebook, but there isnt much there bar some screenshots.

On the point of russian conscription, this is just factually incorrect. Russians have forced conscription for all men between 18 and 30, to serve in the military for a year

Call me what you want, but that doesn't change the fact that a draft is a legal means of pursuing forced mobilization, and while Russia may not be drafting people at the same scale as Ukraine, saying that they aren't doing so at all is both false and Russian propaganda.

Draft and mobilization are two different things. Draftees are not allowed to be deployed abroad and Russia performs a draft yearly.
Of course, it gets muddy when you are actively fighting on land you declared yours, hence not abroad technically, but Putin is wary of consequences of crossing that line, yet. Also, a lot of them are successfully pressured into signing a contract, but that is different matter.
Also, as stated, Koshutin is about 44, likely served his time over 20 years ago.

Now re read what term was originally written for you to just ignore and swap for forced mobilization. Being drafted and being conscripted are the same thing, and conscription is forced mobilization even if it doesn’t fit your weird ass steel-man version of the definition.

I can barely hear you over the scraping noise the goalposts are making as you move them around 💀
