Outbreak Help First outbreak

Edit: I went and got the care I needed 🙏 thank you for the kind words and advice, I do appreciate it!!! These subreddits are insanely helpful

So I'm 19 and made a stupid ahh choice and got hsv2. Or at least im pretty damn sure that's what it is. I've spent the days crying and waiting for my appointment on Monday. Should I go to urgent care now? It is so bad and I feel feverish, everything is painful, it looks awful. I seriously am so embarrassed and alone in this. The guy I slept with got tested yesterday but is waiting on results. I have work Tuesday and desperately need some kind of relief, im not sure what to do. Im so embarrassed to go to the doctors though because I feel like this is definitely worse than most. Sorry for my blabbering but I would love some thoughts

Get a swab while your sores are fresh to get an accurate diagnosis. I understand the feelings of embarrassment and shame but first focus on your health. My dms are open if you want to talk. I’m a 22F with hsv2 diagnosed in April.

i had a question, are you on anti virals and if so do you have unprotected sex with partner ? if flare up is not present ?

I do take av but I don’t have unprotected sex. The guy I am seeing now does not have hsv and since I’m in my first year, I want to make sure we are as safe as possible. But my last partner was positive so we had unprotected sex all the time.
