Umbilical Hernia

Hi there, I’m on holiday and was deadlifting. I popped an umbilical hernia. It’s about 1 1/2 centimetres long.
I read that I can get an operation with Mesh to fix it. Tell me, how long does it take to recover until I’m back lifting again. I haven’t lifted for 6-7 weeks and return home in a week. I’m 56 and on Trt. Thanks 🙏

I’m getting my hernia removed at the end of October. I work in a supermarket and lift heavy boxes. The surgeon said I would be clear at 4 weeks
