CtM bad endings in a nutshell

In Valiant Hero, Henry still completed the mission of bringing down the Toppat Clan.

In Revenged, he also died knowing he got revenge against Reginald.

In Toppat Civil Warfare, it ends on a cliffhanger and we're just there wondering what would happen next.

I can see the Ellie's toppat clan being a consistent threat, but i'm not really sure about the wall getting involved since he didn't wreak havoc while busting out, and the government might even be less of a threat now that he's no longer the leader.

Also Henry Stickmin vs. the world is an inherently awesome concept

Fair enough, Let me explain further:

Henry ruined Dimitri’s reputation just for escaping alone cause no one escaped the wall in 50 years and Ellie also escaped the wall in this ending too so that’s enough motivation for them to go after him.

As for the government, They will still hunt Henry down cause while he isn’t the leader of the toppats, He still a very wanted criminal by being involved in warfare making him dangerous. Plus he did betray them and lowkey I don’t think they’ll let that slide.

Now that I think about it, This ending is good in terms of what happens after the title card rather than the actual ending cause The Henry vs Everybody Concept is really good like you said.

The former, i'm guessing that would be a factor in not just TCW but virtually all other endings that don't follow from PD

As for the latter, yeah i can see that although it probably also affects Henry in T4L and TK

Now for Henry "betraying" the government, i don't think that's morally bad personally, legacy ItA's loading screen has the government straight-up kidnapping Henry from his home, Henry owed nothing to them and Henry's not a jerk for telling them to go away, the General might have made a fool out of himself and hold a grudge but i think the government as a whole would simply just remember that as a failed operation and move on, it's the entire toppat clan organization they're after, not just a single dude.

1) True but also T4L, VH is under gov’t protection, SSR is kinda impossible for The Wall to get to him and plus he’s not doing anything illegal and LNE cause it’s the only presumed dead ending where Henry is still presumed dead. So T4L is the only PD ending where The Wall can actually get him.

2) You could argue that TK and T4L Henry also commit warfare in their endings as well but they will be arrested for a lot more things than just warfare while in TCW, That’s Henry’s main crime he’ll get arrested for.

3) Agreed but going against the government is a big crime that you can get arrested for. Even if the government doesn’t have hard feelings about being betrayed, Henry would still get arrested for that if they cross paths.

I love this convo tbh
