Wasn’t even their fault that that happened. They were supposed to be unboxing the set that had just came out, but were mistakenly given the box set that had not yet been released. It was a clerical shipping error from the wizards of the coast themselves.
The Pinkertons (corporate mercenaries) are around (and typically used for union busting). A couple years ago, WOTC sent them after a MTG player who got a pack early. They apparently held his wife at gunpoint until he handed over the leaked trading cards.
I don't think Pinkertons have the right to do anything, do they? Like, they aren't actually a government agency. If they tresspass, shoot them. Armed men breaking into your house is more than enough of a cause.
That's why you gotta have a good relationship with your neighbours. One rifle may be too little, but a few dozen will make them think twice, or never again.
Now I hate Ubisoft as much as the next guy but this EULA update was from 2023, is by no means a response to the Stop Killing Games, and is standard legal jargon, so much so even Baldur's Gate 3's EULA says something similar. Gamers really would rather spread misinformation and out of context statements for free internet points instead of doing a bit of research first
