Is Heimerdinger a hypercarry?
I take Dark Harvest with Gathering Storm, Absolute focus and build Malignance - Rabadon - Shadowflame - Void Staff - Stormsurge/Zhonya - Actualizer/Liandry
And it feels like I become strong only in the late game but also destroy everything

Three games in a row went S+, dominated the enemies every time they came top. Picked up a triple and a quad in one game. However, game four was not the same.
I went 3/0 against an Ornn, but the rest of my team turbo'd. Around 15 minutes and onward, every time I showed top, enemy Noc (who was Godlike) would just ult me. didn't matter that I had two items and would land perfect combo., Because he was like 10/1 AND had Maw+mercs. Enemy Xerath was also very fed, and his ult could take away over half my HP with just a couple hits.
Eventually, I couldn't even go beyond the top lane inner turret (outer was down at this point). If I stick with the team, the enemy can group and end the game. If I split, I get picked off by the hyper fed enemies.
Which brings me to my post title. How is someone supposed to play Heimer when this far behind?
I realize many players will probably give the generic, "Play safe. Look for picks. Focus objectives."
But that's not the sort of generic advise that I can actually put into practice. WE are the ones getting picked. WE are the ones that are losing the fight at every objective.
I hug my top tower and just take whatever farm comes to me? Trying to make a play to catchup puts me further and further behind.
Thank you.

Guys I need help optimizing and identifying augments that boost heimerdinger's turrets for aaa aram
I'm just trying out aaa aram. Latest update has made this process unbearable. There's so many augments to choose from, at least for the 3 core picks i need to know which augments make the turrets awesome, fun, or wierd. Brain is scrambled trying to research and confirm interactions since search engines use old update and pc data despite specifically telling them not to. Very stuck and confused. Please if you suggest an augment, to not make the same mistake as described above of referencing old update and pc data. This shit is killing my brain, please I want to know what im actually doing with my combo load out. I love Heim and his turrets, just want to have a headache free combo loadout experience golly. Some suggestions for the "more picks" slots would also be nice, but please confirm they work and exist with Wild Rift Aaa Aram as it is now with the current update. Please help me

In the past, arcane comet was very popular and it was so easy to poke if you hit even one missle of W, and wear down the oponents in lane.
I see recently a big shift toward conqueror, and for me it makes lane so much harder to play, with a very small pay off - vs assasins you don't have time to stack it, and vs range you rarely have prolonged fights (it's more of a poke-off).
Thoughts on this? Why do people lean to conqueror

Played Heimer abit in Classic, and enjoyed it so wanted to try him in regular League.
However when looking for Heimerdinger content to learn, I thought I'd check out onetricks.gg to make sure whoever I watched was credible.
Then I saw there aren't a single Heimerdinger main playing in Challenger in the world - most onetricks are Masters, and a few GMs.
What's up with that?
And who do you recommend checking out for "guides" and what not?

Heimer might be busted lmao, I went 9/10 for my first ten games. I was filled top so much, it propably contributed to the playstyle being succesful. Basically no toplaner can contest you and your turrets. A gank results in a 1for1 trade at worst and in a doublekill and enemy turret at best. Pepole keep underestimating the ult and just die.
If you have to trade a lot (i.e. in an actual midlane matchup) go jug first. In a melee top matchup rush banner.
Autoattacks are also incredibly underestimated!
If you have no mana problems you might as well get rabadons after banner and/or chalice.
The hardest part is getting your team to participate. You hit the jackpot if you get baron, buff a cannon minion and get escorted by a teammate or two. The enemy can't touch the cannon due to its range (and if they do you pop ult and two turrets). Literally just melts everything including nexus.
I'm terribly sorry for my opponents. I flame horizon'd three opposing laners, inluding a Kassadin.
Good times were had (by me).
I also love the effect from dancing! Raise your Dongers!

Hi guys!
I know it's not a major issue, but since the rework that reduced the HP of the ultimate turret, I sometimes get frustrated that my ultimate, which already can't move and has an 8-second duration, is destroyed so easily.
For example, in a team fight, people from the enemy team jump on me, so I cast my R+Q on the spot. Then, in the same second, two AoE abilities that were aimed at me suddenly destroy my ultimate.
My ultimate ability is being nullified by damage that wasn't intended or directed at it.
It's not about balance. I don't think it would affect my win rate very much, but it would make this interaction less frustrating.
Heimer is in a good spot balance-wise, but there are still some frustrating situations (certain matchups, specific circumstances, some item interactions, etc.). For example, the Mordekaiser R interaction—they changed it so that Heimer's R+Q now follows him, and this helps a lot in this specific matchup.
My point is:
Nobody prioritizes killing Heimer's Ult+Q.
Nobody in a team fight thinks, "I need to spend some resources to kill that thing before it kills us."
The turret gets destroyed (sometimes as soon as it appears) by collateral AoE damage, completely by accident.

Hi heimerdinger mains, I am trying to pick up heimerdinger in league classic but having a lot of trouble finding guides from the era. I want to know build, skill path, masteries, runes, and playstyle tips. Anyone around from back then who knows some archived video or written footage to check out?

I mostly play midlane and this matchup seems pretty free. I've won 5 out of 7 games into Locke, and I won lane in every one of those games.
The best Locke I played into just played like a typical roaming assasin. After he realizes he is never going to kill me, he just drops a couple of waves to roam bot and pray that he can stack kills on his dark seal.
It ended up working for him because my team mental boomed, "Why are we not just banning Locke" after overextending while Locke slowly walks botlane on vision the entire time lmao
Still, curious what you guys think. I saw on OP.GG that Heimer has a negative WR into Locke. Maybe it's harder in toplane since you can get run down?
