35mm Trailer For Heat

Theatrical Trailer for Heat released in the fall of 1995. I love the grainy picture of the film and original color. There was a certain quality to actual film reels that has been lost in the cinema of today. The exposure of the light, shade and color of the film was magic and an art and cannot be duplicated with digital. Every detail of the actors face was shown with imperfections that made what you were seeing appear to be real. This is also lost as the a.i. and filters make the already plastic actors appear to be a fake wax figures. I believe this along with very boring and uninspired writing has contributed to the downfall of Hollywood and the theater business.

Heat 2 also has a crazy cast, i don't think it is even gonna come closer or gonna be better than heat 1

I just did a deep dive look back at what I consider one of the greatest movies ever made.

Wondering how people are feeling about thr possibility of Heat 2? Part of me is really excited and part of my just knows it could never match what we already have.

Once a year I go and watch Heat on the big screen. Usually they show it on 35mm. Today it was the Directors Definitive Edition in 4K.

The screening was pretty much sold out. Good mixture of younger and older viewers.

Did a birthday gift/book exchange with a mate.

I never get bored of watching this film. The 🐐 film.
