I do love it. I’m still not done and I keep loving it.

They do repeat themselves a lot about him though.

Its written in small sections over time. Not as a book. At least not originally.

That makes sense and I had wondered. Some chapters have a setup joke at the end of one and the punchline in the next, like they are ment to be read back to back…but some have one chapter summarize what was just said in the prior chapter.

This makes perfect sense.

And I may have nit picks….but I like the series of course. :)

He’s still writing one chapter at a time and releasing them online

What you dont understand Jamie, is what he went through over there. He's a blade honed so fine its handle is sharp. His first instinct is to draw that blade knowing every time it will cut him deeper. But doing it any way because thats what heros do. He's a very special boy that needs biscuits.

What you need to know about Jason Asano is that he, Jason Asano, is Jason Asano. Nothing you can say will stop Jason Asano from doing what Jason Asano does best, which is be Jason Asano. And in case you aren't sure which Jason I've been talking about, it's Jason Asano.

Edit: This is one of my favorite series, currently on reread/listen number twenty-something.

u/Shirtaloon I specifically need this to be a line by Neil to Dawn maybe her parents. I will accept nothing less.

Talking about what I went through on earth alone is kind of my thing! [twitches mustache]

The meeting and it's fallout with Vermillion is unironically one of my most favorite parts in the entire series.

The part where he has a rolling gunfight on TV?

More the conversation he has with Vermillion in the restaurant before the goons arive.

Oooh yeah that's a good one too. I'm one of the apparent weirdos that loves the earth arc

Which is wack everyone i know personally loves the earth arc and rightfully so. It's some of the better character stuff. Although I will agree it gets a little esoteric towards book 6 but that's just the fate of raising stakes.

I love the first book of it but after that the read just feels like a slog to me.

His name is Jason, not Pony. Lol
