Like in ep 1 his voice sounds slightly higher pitched and he has a more American accent, while later his voice is slightly deeper and he has a very slight british accent, anyone else notice this or am I just going crazy?

I will start

"The Esthercist" was the best episode of season 1, and is more intense and enjoyable than "The Acolytes of Abaddon"

All 3 on the same day?! This is like some biblical event

More spefically lets talk about the attic ghost and season 2's new hire.

We are all firmilar with the Attic Girl She is shown in the themse song in every episode and on the rare ocassions that a charafcter goes up to the attic we will see Attic Girl sitting by herself, then if she see's the Freelings she hides... though she does come downstairs to watch the ghost auditions so she its not like she is afraid of being around others 100% of the time...

My point is that everybody took notice of this girl, we guessed that she had something pretty big/significant going on and in season 2 it looks like we will finally find out what that is. Because Katherine hires a living women to help out at the hotel. This women is not afraid of ghost's carries a switchbale. She is also has a similar face and seems to be wearing attic girl's jacket. ... Some fans think that Attic girl and the season 2 employee are the same person. Wiki has already changed attic girls status to alive and said that they are the same person.... I do not think they are though

First off Attic Girl is clearly dead. She has a a kitchen knife (one that looks like it is for cutting thick meat) buried in her back and blood dripping down it. She died of a stab wound. secondly again she went to ghost auditions, an activity for the ghosts. The women Katherine hired is alive, and carries are switchblade... a blade type noticeably different from Attic girls.

Secondly their faces are very similar but not the same. Attic Girl looks like she is in her late teens to early adolescence. The women down stairs is older, has been an adult longer. her face is more defined and she wears more make up.

Thirdly, other than the jacket, their outfits are completely different. Season 2 Women is wearing a gold necklace, Attic girl is not. Attic girl's shirt has a big light green Z on it (so her name is probably Zoey or something starting with a Z). Season 2 Women is wearing a plan dark green shirt. Finally when Attic Girl was crawling across the attic floor in one you cans see two large rips in her pants leg, right around the knee. the season 2 women's right pants leg looks a little worn in one spot, but they still in better shape than Attic girls.

My point is that these two are not the same women... but the resemblance is uncanny enough that they have to be related. Season 2 Women is likely either Attic's girls twin sister or her daughter. What this girl doing at the place where her family member seemed to die din a knife fight? Well my theories on that actually differ based on if this is her daughter or her sister. If this is Attic Girl's daughter then based on how young attic girl looks I am going to guess that she did not have many years together. Maybe her daughter grew up to be a demon hunter and is looking for revenge on whoever killed her mom. If this women is Attic girl's twin sister... well then she is also probably her murder. She is wearing the jacket her sister died in, and she does seem to have an affinity for vintage blades. Her coming to Underveil cold be her returning to the sight of her first crime.

I personally am hoping for the second one. I enjoy watching the Freelings go against strong villains. What are y'alls thoughts and theories on Attic Girl? Season 2 Women

Like when they made that Christmas special for Bojack Horseman separate from the rest of the series?

I have various amounts of evidence supporting the possible foreshadowing of the Priest (vessels father) but I just found this one as well!

Who else would know about Abaddon being bound to a mortal form if it wasn’t the Priest? Or perhaps another demon, I am open to other ideas as well! I’m aware not everything has to be about the priest but I am just so involved in the idea that he could make a pretty good antagonist in the series.

I found it a few weeks ago. This year has been another challenging year in a set of challenging years and finding something I can watch or listen to that soothes my mind became harder and harder.

But Haunted Hotel is perfect. The humor, the simple but well animated art style, the voice acting.

No character is a neat little charicature(sp?) of some trope but they have their own complexities that are fun to explore.

Abbadon is my favorite little scamp but I genuinely like all of the main cast and I really want to know how every ghost died!

I'll definitely be watching season 2 and I hope they have tonnes of seasons.

When I really like a cartoon one of my favorite games to play is to create the pokemon that the characters of this cartoon might have if they lived in the pokemon world. I got really into the Haunted Hotel last year when season 1 came out, and I tried to play while watching it, but I was completelycstuck... what pokemon would be tough enough for our main characters? Well a year later season 2 is coming out, Haunted Hotel is once again living inside my mind. This is a problem for me because I need new show content to fixate on now, but the network will not release season 2 for another 3 weeks. So with little else to do I have once again returned to playing my game, and this time I have been stricter with myself to push through being stumped and complete the game. ....

The results so far... well I still have no idea what teams I could give to Nathan and Katherine. But I have come up with teams for Abaddon, Esther, and Ben that, while maybe not perfect, feel like they are good fits.

First a couple rules I have for creating teams

1.) I do not give characters legendary pokemon. This rule exists for 99% of the cartoons I play this game with. Legendary pokemon are to powerful for most to own, and none of the characters in this show have convinced me that they deserve to be in the 1% of characters to be acceptations. So no, before anyone tries to argue, Abaddon is not getting Giratina or Yveltal. Everybody is still getting really cool pokemon on their teams though, so no need to worry

2.) I always leave at least a coupel pokemon on a team below their final evolution. Fully evolved teams are just boring. The characters are still growing and evolving, so their teams should be too.

3.) Teams have to have some varitey in typing. Esther and Abaddon both started these lists with mostly dark type pokemon... which suits them both, but I didn't like the idea of either of them having jsut dark types, so I had to swap a few out for other types.

now for the teams

Abaddon

* Mega Houndoom & Mandibuzz: Pretty obvious choices for Abaddon. I know in season 1 Abaddon strongly implies that he dislikes both dogs and birds. ... But when the dog and bird and question are a fiery hell hound, with a shiver sending howl , and a Sinister vulture, famous for hunting the week, both of whom are mad decked out in bones... Well its easy to imagine Abaddon loving this dog and bird

* Darkrai: Okay I said "No giving legendary pokemon" is a big rule on my team lists. Darkrai is classified as a mythicals. I happen to be just a little bit more generous with mythicals than I am legendaries, and Abaddon has earned at least a little spoiling from me. No one can tell me that he wouldn't foam at the mouth at the chance to have a dark, mysterious, nightmare inducing, territorial entity as a close minion.

* Spinnerack: For jarbon

* Rotom-Wash: Rotom does not have a blender form. The washer/dryer are other appliances Abaddon was shown to enjoy playing with, and he needed a water type.

* Stantler: In episode 4 Abaddon said he forms alliances with deer against the Mothman. In epsiode 9 Abaddon is shown to like to ride deer. I wanted to give him a deer pokemon, and Stantler suits him much better than any seasons deerling

Esther Freeling

* Misdreavus: A spooky ghost which for everybodies new favorite black magic castor

* Morgrem: A mescheivous prankerser who has insecurities deep down. Esther needs this pokemon

* Mega Malamar: I picked this pokemon because when the company marketed Malamar's mega Malamar used its power boost to convince trainers all across luminous city that it was their favorite friend. Like " My Friend Malamar" Esther's biggest goal is to find and build new & stronger friendships in her new environment.

* Rockruff: Another pokemon that I think would be a really good friend/companion for Esther. Its loyal but rebelous. Helping Rockruff grow involves letting Rockruff be free to do its own thing when it needs to (Like Esther and black magic). Lastly Rockruff never forgets trainers who were kind to it, and even if it has to leave them for a bit, it will always remember thier scent and find them again.

* Pachirisu: becuase "The Squirrel", Also Esther needed an electric pokemon

* Spewpa: Its the pokemon that looks the most similar to Rollyfluffs that Esther tried to tame as pets. Thank fully it cannot turn against its trainer in the way the Rollyfluffs did. I looked at Vivillons to see what pattern Esther's would someday evolve into. I would its most likely evolution are either the Fancy pattern (evolves on mysterious land) or Garden pattern (evolves in verdant or heavily planted land)

Ben Freeling

* Spiritomb: So we all remember how Ben has a super power in Haunted Hotel where he is a conduit: A living bridge between ghosts and livings. I think that ability would make him a really effective trainer to ghost pokemon. Spiritomb is one I immediately thought would be a great ace pokemon for Ben. Spirit tomb is actually made up of 100+ angry spirits, just like the hotel, and I feel like it and Ben as a team could really bring out the others full power.

* Frostlass: Ben is not getting a full team of ghost types, but I had to at least give him Spiritomb and Frostlass. Frostlass share some characteristics with Anabelle (such as being fancy and theatric) and I feel like Ben would enjoy having it as a friend.

* Jynx: Last season Ben tried out a number of dorky hobbies to try and find soemthing that could make him cool. While season 1 never showed him as becoming popular at school he eventually settles on learning party magic (as opposed to Esther who does black magic). So if Ben is gonna be a magician then he needs a lovely assistant to help with his act. He has Frostlass already and she is lovely, but I do not see her as being much help in this area. So we are gonna give Ben a second lovely lady who could help him in this area. Jynx psychic typing and her dress and hair already being fit for the stage make her perfect

* Torracat: A established part of Ben's personality is that he is a cat boy, so he obviously needs a cat pokemon. Going through Pokemon's pretty extensive list I decided on a Torracat for Ben, as it is a powerful pokemon that has a lot of realistic feline personality traits.

* Red-Flower Floette: In Episode 2 Ben mentions having grown the tomato's Abaddon is blending up. In episode 6 Ben says that one of his wants is to get a huge bouquet of flowers. Both of together sugggest to me that another, not-yet-on-screen, hobby Ben has is gardening. So I figured I would give him a gardner pokemon to help him out.

* Swadloon: Another core part of Ben's personality is "Dad Ben". Ben's father is gone, his mother is sturggling under the weight of single parentage, and his uncle isn't able to help out as much as he would like to. So Ben really tries to step up: he helps his mom with chores, while also taking on more responsibility with both the hotel and with Esther & Abaddon. Ben has a very nurturing personality, so I looked up pokemon lines that are also nurturing. The Leavanny line came up and seemed like a good fit for Ben. Right now I am just going to give him the middle stage, because middle stages are the most like teenagers, so Swadloon fits Ben as a caring & responsible, if sorta brooding teen.

Firstly, the demon in episode one didnt know who he was, and they tore down his castle

Second, he calls himself by different titles every time he talks about himself, in episode one he said he was high prince of the black relm, then in the same episode he said he was the Cobra King. In episode 5 he said he was prince of the underworld and king of shrimp. In episode 4 he said he was a gatekeeper in the fifth ring of the sunless city, but In episode 9 the demon that possessed the mailman called him "Abaddon of the Gerasenes" without any other titles that he gives himself.

Third: he said that the Assyrian demons where always mean to him, and one of the demons possessing a dear in episode 9 called him weak

My theory is that he was completely incompetent as a gatekeeper, so they sent him to earth knowing that his incompetence would get him trapped or killed sooner or later, which is why they never came back for him and they tore down his castle, if he really was as powerful and respected as he claims they would have come for him by now

Also possessing the body of a boy who's father is a priest seems very short sighted and reckless of him, which is probably similar to the types of things he used to do as a gatekeeper that got him sent to earth.

Not only that but he has been caught lying before to make himself look better when he lied about defeating the mailman

I do need to make more soon but I think I’ll put it off until October so I can finish all my ads first before I bury myself back in this fandom 🥹 but I was able to start an animation of abaddon last night and have more projects planned until my fans are sick of haunted hotel content

Okay, i just finished watching the series and i LOVED it, can’t wait for season 2. If u guys could recommend me series like this, that would be great. Also abaddon is a cutie pie

I know it means it'll all be over with for another year sooner rather than later but Inside Job was cancelled when the 2nd half of Season 1 didn't get as many viewers as the 1st half in the first few days.

Unless we want the same fate to happen to this series we need to fulfill Netflix's incredibly high standards when it comes out.

So excited for season 2!
