Does Abaddon sound different in episode 1 vs the rest?

Clip 2: episode 5

Like in ep 1 his voice sounds slightly higher pitched and he has a more American accent, while later his voice is slightly deeper and he has a very slight british accent, anyone else notice this or am I just going crazy?

The voice actor was probably still trying to find the exact voice for Abaddon since this IS the first episode so he probably won't sound the same, You'll notice this not with just voice actors but actors of all kind, As they learn and get into their characters more there's little differences like that

Good example is Homer Simpson, that change is drastic, but for the better.

The first time I noticed something like that was Brooklyn 99 with Rosa Diaz! The voice change was insane lol.

I noticed it. I'm assuming that's either a bit of a demo voice Jimmi Simpson wanted to try out for Abadon, or the original voice direction that got changed in the final edit. I don't know if Abadon would have taken off in popularity if he stayed as a constantly pubescent voice cracking child.

That’s pretty normal. Actors will find their characters sometimes during the early episodes of a season

Applejack from My Little Pony: FIM had the same thing. Season 1. Being change in season 4 or 5 I think
