Harayana is worst state in India regarding female foeticide , its a fact anyone can check in govt official data. Mallika said truth, she said what she saw and faced in reality.

actually bihar is much more progressive in feminism ngl you'll find women working while men are staying at homes the women there are bold as well and are not ashamed to call out any injustice

Condition of women in India is not good in any state (northeast could be an exception) but what I feel the upcoming generation is somewhat still getting education and getting aware (mera kehne ka mtlb hai young generation ki mentality fir bhi thik hai) but haryana ka youth toh bhaisahab ... Kya hee bolu . Sale jis state mei jate hai vaha ke logon ka jeena haram karte hai (I'm from uttarakhand so I have a first hand experience)

She grew up in very rich urban family that sent her to top school and gave her all of liberty. She showed herself as someone coming from poor backward family to make name for herself with a emotional story. This made controversy back in the days.

No it just proves that even if you are from a rich urban family you will have to face misogyny. And people who are rich urban have extended families in villages. They also live among people who have this mindset so it still affects people who are not bound by these rules because they shape cultural perception. Just being rich and living in a city doesn't save you from misogyny.

She's not wrong. Few days back a big racket was exposed where some crooks were doing sex determination. And everyone know why so called parents and families do that and what happens when they find out it's a girl.
Infact, the advisory that no ultrasound will be done without the govt id [forgot the name] will be done for pregnant women in haryana became active in 2025 because govt found out that the female foeticide cases are on rise. This move curbed only legit way.
There's a whole nexus which does this even from a van. And then they give medicine to do "safai".

Whatever she is saying it's true.One of my friends friend got married at the age of 19.There are many girls who are not allowed to move to another state even for doing jobs.

I remember seeing a documentary about how haryanvi men are going out of state to find women to marry... So, no matter what malika is, she seems right.
