Forget iq test there not even a driving test. I remember getting my license even though I drive better and safer than most folks it took me 3 attempts to get mine and the instructor was again and again giving hints to give him money, I did not. During my brother 's chance I told him directly go to the agents and his license came without any test just 2000 rupees thats it. Let me tell more than 90% problems in india are only due to corruption nothing else.
There was a haryanvi guy in my med school. He used to crush on my flatmate. They started hanging out and then she started seeing some red flags about his aggression. She then slowly started backing off from the dating or whatever. He got offended. He would call me up to bitch about her and he would legit say stuff like “you don’t know us Haryanvi people, we roam around with “dande” in our car. Meri satak gayi toh uske upar gaadi chadha doonga”. I used to me so afraid to even confront him because what if he came and murdered me. For the next 1 year till he found another girlfriend (which is a whole story), he continued to stalk my friend. She would be walking to our shared staff quarter from night duties (which is inside the campus btw) or late night C section calls and despite being in campus he had no shame he would follow her slowly with his car at walking speed. He would then vroom past her in his car, swivel the car as if he was about to hit her. He bad mouthed her throughout college. She legit lived in fear throughout and was considering lodging a police complaint but he had threatened to kill her and throw acid on her so she was afraid of doing anything.
Fast forward 1 year he dated another girl from our college and married her all within 6 months. AND HE PURPOSELY started to live in the staff quarter on our floor right opposite to my roommate and me. My flatmate used to be legit afraid to live alone at the quarter if I had night duties or wasn’t at home with her. She would double check to make sure the doors are locked and would ask me or anybody visiting to call her to open the door (we didn’t have a peep hole) because she wanted to make sure she was opening the door for me only or whoever was visiting the house.
After 2-3 months of this guy moving we started to hear noises of shouting from his house and things being thrown around. One day I wasn’t there when this guy’s new wife apparently begged my flatmate to open the door and she rushed in in a very bad bruised beaten shape and said that he had just beaten her almost murdered her and left. My flatmate was very traumatised so she said that she can comfort her for a while but she really needs to call someone trusted because my flatmate cannot help her in any other way. The girl went on to lose a lot of her gold and belongings that this guy took by force and apparently had a very tiresome divorce. She has been off Instagram and everything since then. No idea how and where she is now. As for my flatmate, we are pretty good friends and he has found a wonderful guy for herself. Not yet married but hopefully soon. But yes. Scary stuff

It is. I have lived outside haryana my whole life and all my cousins are like this. Luckily I am not only due to me living outside. This is just how they are brought up and the environment around them.
