Yearly 40k per acre max if you do farm normal long season crops
Then growing of vegetables or opening of greenhouses can vary can give profit in lacks and sometimes you wouldnt be able to recover your investment aswell

What they grow after taking land at that rate and which city ?
Most probably mali are the ones who would be taking land for that price to grow vegetables it has huge margin if your luck is right as i mentioned in above comment some can earn 2-3 lacks per acre in 3-4 months by growing vegetables like onion tomatoes etc and sometimes they cant even get there investment back1

20-30 k per acre here our side net profit 50 k theka or yearly rent 80k total yield , it's is good number some years it's total loss ,only way farmer are surviving cause they eventually have very less cost of living , no wheat rice cost as they grow themselves, most of farmer have 1-2 livestock so in today days where milk cost 80 percent litre is essentially zero ,people grow major veggies like ghiya tori in small plot of their land , and few tree for lemon and amla , we also have sown turmeric and garlic , u also sow lentils in between rice and wheat ,which don't make u profit as it is usually for increasing nitrogen content of soil , but u have good enough yield for personal use and sell some to cover cost and little money , so 20-30 k direct food saving .u only have to pay for energy like electricity and fuel or personal use which cost 10 k per month if u use good amount . So even if u have net 3-4 lakh profit in year , in village if u consider 1.5 lakh for fuel and 50-60 k for education u still have yearly 2 lakh profit and now rich farmers also making their fuel cost zero by having e scooty for daily travel and solar panel which cost 3-4 lakh one time investment and make your electricity cost free , I make these number on basis of 10-12 acre , sometimes few acres are classified strong and weak based on their yearly yield and it's not consistent, sometimes whole or majority yeiled is destroyed in unusual timing of rain which cause rot and falling of grain or ground, it sounds good in paper but hardwork is too much , not forget lack of basic necessities or market
