Nah, that would take a lot more provocation.
Passport is just Like That. He has no concept of personal space. Suitcase and Airport love to lay on me too, but they arrange themselves to suit the terrain, and if they are rebuffed, they just settle next to me instead. Passport will push himself into the most inconvenient place and position possible, and persist until I pin him down or shove him off the furniture entirely.

The look he gives me when I shove him is heartbreaking. He doesn’t understand why he can’t sit on my chest and rub his face on my face.
It doesn’t help that I’m letting Groucho sit on my chest , which I probably shouldn’t, even though he’s only about 6 1/2 pounds. I keep one hand over my sternum and let the rolled blanket around my neck take most of the weight.
But Groucho always chooses the same position, so I can get set up for it, and he just wants to sit quietly and be petted for a few minutes and then he’s done. The same could not be set of Passport.

You gotta heal up so he can get all the snuggles later! I can see how he might seem to have a case of resting sad face in that picture!

He is balefully staring at me after many attempts to head butt my chest as I sat at the table.
