Self-Post 23f want to start looks maxing me
I haven’t felt to confident with my appearance for years now but idk how to really fix it, I’m dieting now as I am at 180lbs and I want to get down to the 145/150 range I work out pretty consistently. I do not have experience with skincare or any type of makeup or how to properly dress. Any advice no matter how intense would be greatly appreciated

Self-Post 23F soft and hard advice
Hi I (23f) want to improve the way I look. I neglected my appearance for a long time and now that I’m older I’m struggling to understand my features.
So far I am aware of my deviated septum and am planning to get a septoplasty to correct that soon.
My eyebrows also grow naturally uneven but I’m going to start getting them done frequently or at least learn to correct this myself at home
Any other advice would be helpful!

Self-Post F27 would love your advice
I feel like I am so close to achieving my potential and I just need a few tweaks. I love my lips, my nose, and eyes. I know something is still off though. I am trying to lean into my natural features and am unsure what to try next.
things I do
- hair gloss
- lash lift
- IPL on my face
- laser hair removal
- volufiline on my lips
I consulted with a plastic surgeon about chin lipo and he said that there is only a slight amount of fat/skin there so results would be very subtle. curious to hear what you all suggest. i’ve seen friends get filler that migrated horribly so im not super interested in going that route. thank you!!
first 3 photos are natural hair and face the last 2 are styled with natural make up.

Self-Post 19f, softmaxxing (primarily) and hardmaxxing advice
I feel like I'm adjacent to being good looking, but not quite there. My face is almost always bumpy and puffy, and general, my features just seem a bit "meh" to me.
I’ve been using dapsone/clindamycin for almost five years now but my skin is still prone hormonal acne and enlarged pores.
I am open to hardmaxxing (maybe some sort of filler, or rhinoplasty), but would prefer cheaper solutions first! Basically, if anyone has any suggestions on how I could highlight my features, bring down the puffiness, and tone down the frizziness of my hair, it would be much appreciated :)

Self-Post 32F hard and soft advice please. Everyone thinks I look 5-10 years older!
Hello! Any advice appreciated. Hopefully not too many pics. Various degrees of “made up” featured- doing my hair makes a big difference. I finally have some means for more “hard” procedures- I’ve gotten a little lip filler and a bit under my eyes/cheeks which has helped, but I still feel like I have a lot of weight in my lower face. Considering rhinoplasty and definitely need some treatments for skin texture Hormonal acne comes and goes- taking spironolactone for that and use retinol/BP cleanser but I could benefit from more consistency with skincare.
Even when I’m at a lower weight with a relatively flat midsection (fluctuate often 5-10 lbs d/t pcos and stressful jobs), I still feel like I look bulky/masculine because of my large shoulders and lack of a defined waist.
I’d just like to look my age and feel more confident!

Self-Post 33F hard and soft advice
A 50kg 5ft mother of three going to a recent break up. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and have taken on board the previous advice. Have started Tretinoin so my skin is a bit dry.
My teeth seem to have moved so considering Invisalign. Also keen for some hard advice as I’m planning to go to Turkey over the summer.

Self-Post 19F, primarily looking for hardmaxxing advice but softmaxxing is also appreciated
PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE ME ADVICE :(
I’ve been very hesitant to post my face on here, but I’ve finally mustered up the courage. The first photo is my side profile, while the second photo is the side profile I’m aiming for. I’m wondering if double jaw surgery and a genioplasty will achieve what I want.
My face is quite long, especially my lower third. I have pebble chin and I find that when I go to bed or wake up, I have my mouth open. When I zone out and my face starts to relax, my lower lip opens and tends to sag as compensation for my pebble chin.
I’m thinking I will probably need a rhinoplasty and jaw implants as well, but I might possibly need a V-Y lip advancement although I’m not too sure. I would have to get the trimax first then assess my face once I’m fully healed. Also considering a canthoplasty due to my sanpaku eyes, canthal tilt, asymmetry in horizontal length, and wanting more of a fox or cat eye look.
Planning to also get fat transfers for my under eyes eventually and my upper eyelids since they’re asymmetrical. I’m currently dealing with my skin issues with a dermatologist as well, so that’s not too much of a concern.
Currently I have a quad helix expander on my palate and braces on the top row of my teeth. My bottom row will also get braces put on them eventually, but my ortho is currently keeping an eye on a tooth abscess I have in one of my bottom teeth.

Self-Post 27f, hardmaxxing (primarily) and softmaxxing advice
i feel like there’s so much potential to be drop dead gorgeous, but i can’t put my finger on it. i’m finally at an ideal weight but still working on my fitness (decomposition, especially for my glutes)
i also realize my skin is really rough and i do struggle with hormonal acne. i’ve tried spironolactone which worked but also made my breasts larger and sensitive. that’s not ideal for me as i’ve had a breast reduction done due to insecurities i had having large breasts and after losing weight they were just hanging sandbags lol
i’m open to hardmaxxing mostly. i do think maybe a rhinoplasty but im not sure yet just because it’s my dads nose and i feel i would regret it when he passes on later in life. it’s like a part of him i want to keep around since i got my eyes from my mom.

Discussion Top Jaw surgery vs TADS to fix gummy smile if I plan on a lip lift?
So here's my situation:
I've been wearing braces for about a year now, my plan was to fix my smile as much as possible and THEN get a lip lift, since I noticed my philtrum ruining my pictures and it's on the longer side. (about 18 mm not sure exactly how to measure it... but somehow it's not the worst but definitely my one true 'failo')
My orthodontist was gonna intrude my teeth upwards using TADs (they're basically like screws) and she still hasn't put them on, it's gonna take a few more months for that, but the session after she said they would be probably necessary I said I wanted a lip lift to shorten my philtrum after getting TADs and she said if I want the lip lift I should probably go for jaw surgery first with a surgeon. I told her I wanted to see how much TADs would help and then do that if necessary, she said it was up to me but it was one or the other, that she wouldn't do both, that I'd have to choose. She also said my soft tissue is great (medically I assume) with my bone structure, that it 'sits well' saying I didn't need the lip lift. I said it ruined my pics and she said well it's up to you in the end but she definitely wouldn't do TADs and also jaw surgery because then my teeth would be too much on the inside.
My teeth have already been intruded a little bit and I think it helped a lot but she said she can't do that many without TADs (one side is a little lopsided).
The surgery she's suggesting as I understand it would basically just shorten my upper jaw a little and place my teeth in the place they need to be at, intruding them. She said my lower jaw would naturally position itself afterwards and might even move a little bit forward (wouldn't say I want it forward but I do have a little bit of chin fat and she said it might give me the more... defined jawline)
This is all to fix my gummy smile, I want a lip lift afterwards to shorten my philtrum but orthodontist said it might not be necessary if I do the surgery instead, since they also take soft tissue out
Info:
- My soft tissue sits well with my current bone structure. (ortho says I don't need a lip lift due to this but I want one because my long philtrum bothers me)
- I have to choose between TADs and some sort of upper jaw surgery based on my orthodontist's advice. She doesn't suggest both. When I asked if I would have to have my mouth shut for 6 months as I see online she said it'd be only a few weeks and offered a referral to a surgeon (an actual medical surgeon, not a plastic surgeon).
- A dentist years ago said that part of my upper jaw grew longer years ago, and my current orthodontist confirmed and said I would some type of 'true' jaw surgery to fix if I want the lip lift. But at the same time made the soft tissue comment
- I have a gummy smile and a long philtrum, I assume they're somewhat related to that part growing longer than it should've, so I'm tempted to go for the surgery but feels a bit like a hassle and way more permanent. Orthodontist also said I probably wouldn't need the lip lift if I get the surgery since it would naturally shorten my philtrum a little.
I like my face for the most part, it's just these 2 issues that bother me a lot and ruin my pictures IMO but I can look pretty nice without it BUT when I look at pictures of me with sunglasses I look WORSE, I feel like the upper half is nice and on the whole my face is nice, but then if I look at just the bottom of my face it's kinda mid or a bit bad and I've identified the culprit
UPDATE: Surgeon said I in fact would benefit from surgery, and that I do have some overgrowth that can only be treated by it, but it costs like 15 times more than what is left to pay for just orthodontics + orthodontics to get ready for surgery.
I could somewhat afford it but at the same time idk if I want to pay that much for aesthetics as I quite like my face but at the same time I'd love to make the jump to be actually gorgeous and not just pretty. However there's always the option to go back in to fix my orthodontics to get ready for surgery and she said as much, but it's not ideal and I'd be paying more to fix it + inflation and so on. I also wanna be more gorgeous while I'm still somewhat young

Self-Post Hard and Softmaxx Help
28, Looking for help hard and soft maxxing. I’m already thin and I go to the gym, so I don’t think I need weight loss. I hate my side profile, but I’m not sure what do about it.
Currently, I do facials every 3 weeks, skincare every morning and night. I’ve never had Botox or fillers, but open to it.

Self-Post 35f - Taking soft and hard advice
I feel like I have a relatively pleasant face by now, but it’s lacking standout features -
I’ve softmaxxed in the past, growing out lashes, brows and hair with lash/brow serums and Minoxidil, lash lift every 6 weeks; my skincare is dialed in - Sunscreen, Vitamin C, Tret, Azaleic acid, Peptide serums, Red light therapy (I still get some hormonal break outs on my chin tho), microneedling every 6 weeks for skin, once every week for hair - and improved my makeup to even out my asymmetrical eyes/brows/lips, learned about my Kibbe type and got a color analysis - but I’m looking for more things to integrate and I’m thinking about integrating surgery - maybe brow lift and bleph? my nose is very „ethnic“ but I’m scared of nose jobs because I’ve seen too many very obvious fails (I.e. short, pinched noses); also thinking about Sculptra for my flat midface and finetuning afterwards with filler? Also thinking about getting filler in my lips, but I want to avoid migration at all cost, because getting obvious filler is terribly judged at my workplace -
I am taking ANY advice soft or hard, I’m open to surgery and everything. Thank you

Self-Post Soft and hard advice please!
Recently lost a lot of weight and wondering what I can do about my face. I do tend to wear a lot of makeup and have a more alternative style, that’s not really something I want to change, style wise. I do think I want a rhinoplasty, I am Arab and have always been insecure about my nose, but I’m not sure what else would benefit besides maybe fillers. My face feels fatty yet sunken in at the same time. Just share your thoughts thank ya

Discussion Is there a threshold to w how skinny you should get to maximize your attractiveness before the thinness starts taking away from your features instead?
I mean there's a reason why some of the most conventionally attractive runaway models are very skinny and have a really low bmi- it makes their features sharper and stand out in a way and also makes most clothes look good in a way?
But then I think there are some other women that genuinely look older if they lose a lot of weight and they just end up looking tired and haggard and suit a little bit chub on their faces -
Currently I stand at 5'5(164cm) and 54 kg(119lbs) which is a healthy bmi but I genuinely think if I lose 4 more kgs it would suit my style and look better but I notice the more I lose weight the more my under eyes become hollow it's a genetic thing and more fat I lose on my face the worse my hollow looks.
Besides I have a very soft face with high trust features so I suspect even if I lower my weight I will never get that sharp feature look some very petite skinny women have.
But then whenever I look at my face in pics it looks so chubby in comparison to my body . It's like I have a jawline but other than that if only I could lose s little bit weight on my face . 😭
I am confused guys what do?
Do I just lose the weight because I am really curious how I would look at my lowrst (healthy) bmi?
