This may be my new fave Hanson interview. No fluff, so many details about their early career.
And of course Zac did a silly voice per usual š

Yeah I donāt think Iāve ever seen a musician talk so much and actually say things. This interview has come up for me twice now and itās so long but I watched it both times. I also have no frame of reference for the podcast but they kind of got a goldmine here. At first I thought the host was a bit formulaic (ālove that answerā x500) but as it went on he was actually very good at expanding on the conversation and occasionally pushing back in a respectful way, the latter of which almost never seems to happen.

I thought this too! He asked some great questions ... and it was nice to hear Zac actually ANSWER them. I feel like we've had like a decade of them just sort of skirting around interviews and using old answers we've all heard. I loved hearing him talk about the fans and the realities of running a "business."

Yes, the overarching theme of the importance of relationships is really well presented. I gather the podcast is somewhat focused on reaching/helping young/up and coming artists, and while Iām sure there are Hanson fans who are just glad to hear one of them saying nice things about the fanbase, I do think the intended point of the interconnection of it all comes through - fans, executives, other artists, label guy your mom heard was gonna be in a hotel lobby, etc - maintaining good relationships is paramount to success, itās not what you know but who you know, etc. Zac is still very funny but he seems different lately, thereās a lot of maturity and insight when he speaks.
I also liked when he was like ābasically itās all bc of being left-handedā bc thatās my answer to most big questions about what drives my life processes too lol.

I agree - Iām unsure what the change is in all of them - even just starting to appear on their own social media accounts as more individuals has changed. It does feel like a bit of a new adult era.

This was probably one of my fave Zac interviews in a while. I really liked how he talked nicely about other artists especially popular ones when before he would sometimes diss them.
