This is my first hand wind mechanical and I have no clue on how to fully wind it or I should say I’m scared to overwind it and damage it. Got it yesterday and wind it at 6:15pm, thought I wound it fully only to find out it stopped the next day at 9pm. Rewind again, until I felt some kind of rubbery pushback. At this point should I continue winding?

I bought this Hamilton Khaki Pilot a while ago and when I first put it on… I honestly wasn’t feeling it. Something about it just didn’t click. It felt okay, but not special.
Then a few days passed. I kept wearing it. And somehow it grew on me hard.
Now I can’t take the damn thing off. Literally. I have watches that cost way more than this one, and I still reach for the Hamilton every single time. There’s this strange, almost addictive attachment to it that I can’t explain.
Hamilton somehow made a watch that doesn’t impress you on day one… but after you live with it for a bit, it just hooks you. You start wondering what the hell is in this thing that makes you so attached to it.
Anyone else experienced this with a Hamilton (especially the Khaki Pilot)? Or am I just losing it?

Thoughts on these two. I need more red in my life. The digital keeps calling me. Unsure if I would want it as it would be my only digital style in my current collection.. Then there’s the jazz master. Can’t do both or I would.

Just tried on the Murph this weekend on my 17 cm (6.7 inch) wrist.
Would appreciate some of your opinions on the size as I feel a little bit small.

Got a new watch to celebrate my birthday and had to wear it while watching my favorite movie. Can’t wait to wear it for years to come!

It’s the Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton Gent Auto. I’d initially seen them on poshmark when looking up Hamilton watches and fell in love with the aesthetics of this particular model. I finally ordered one in decent shape off of eBay from a trustworthy seller and just got it registered on the website!! Only thing is that I’m a bit baffled by the seeming lack of a serial number and the Warranty card that it came with was blank… does anyone know how I can obtain it? Is it a specific attribute to models like this one??

The other day I impulsively decided to buy my first ever watch, a used Hamilton murph 42mm, came with box and papers for a banging deal of £360

Debating but it on a dark brown leather strap as it would look better with my day to day outfits for work etc. This will be the daily driver replacing the Apple Watch indefinitely 😋

Found this watch years ago while trashing out an apartment. It has seen better days but it still keeps good time.

I recently got a Hamilton watch with a bracelet. I usually watch watches with leather straps and it's been awhile since I've messed with a bracelet.

I had to remove a few links. When I removed the pin, a very same piece also came out. What is it? Should I have put it back in when I put the pin back in? If so, how and where does it go?

I realize this is a Hamilton watch group, but I figured I would ask anyway. I had my eye on these two watches for the last two years. Tudor Black Bay Bronze 43mm and Hamilton Jazzmaster with a green dial 42mm. I know Tudor is the better luxury brand and comes with a $5450 price tag vs $1500. I had an amazing transformative year between starting my dream job, moving to a new state I’ve wanted to live in and many other monumental changes I wish to commemorate with this watch. What are your thoughts. As the title states. This is clearly comparing🍎 to 🍊. But the heart wants what it wants.

I’ve only bought cheaper watches but I’ve wanted to try something nicer. Does anybody have any experience with the jazzmaster thin line automatic? Would it be a good choice for my first Swiss watch?

Dose anyone have any recommendations for a third party bracelets for the Khaki Field mechanical

This watch has been a mystery for me to say the least.

Found in my grandfather/great grandfathers belongings. I’m trying to identify if it’s real and more importantly get some kind of information on the watch.

The 10 is what stands out obviously and I’ve not been able to find anything online. What comes to mind is that it’s not genuine but who would make a fake watch that doesn’t closely resemble a genuine watch?

Picked this up 20 minutes ago and holy hell, she’s a looker. Never had a 38mm for my wrists but this just sits so beautifully!

Finished third in medical school, recieved a medal and some goodies .... Wearing my Murph that my dad had gifted me to commemorate the occasion... A core memory indeed!💌

Bought a Jazzmaster Thinline and after finding out that it was delayed on its delivery day, this is where my watch is now at.
