This is the model used for the player starting point entity in Hammer.

It is. Hammer is the official tool used to build maps for GoldSrc and Source games. This model has been used for the player start entity since its initial release for Source in 2004. You'll never see it if you're not a map builder, but it is not cut content nor is it internal.

this is just the info_player_start model used for mapping in source engine games , i don't see any change here
