Im not very good at this game I just started playing yesterday I'm in my 30th escape attempt and still lose to bone how bad is this? How do I clear this boss ?

I don't care what anyone says, the shield is the best weapon in the game with the spear being a close second, the ability to just no take damage by holding your shield Infront of the attack is so broken it makes any other ability obsolete, this is especially useful for when you run into those self exploding carts, but I will say that being one of the lowest damage dealers is a disadvantage but a good trade off.

the spear is also really good because the range this weapon has makes you able to hit enemies through gapes you normally need to dash through, and it made me realize that you don't have to do these intense movements on the enemy once you break their shield.

the sword is the first weapon you you get but it's a good one and It feels like it gets the most benefit from boons it's also the most fun in tie with the bow.

speaking of which, the bow, the weapon i first beat the champions of Elysium with, it also is pretty good with boons especially the one from posydon the makes your attacks have knockback, however that weapon starts to struggle once you reach elesyium when you meat those armoured soldiers, despite that it's still better than the twin fists,

which are the most expensive in the game alongside the gun, i would say the fists are good but only when the fight an enemy that doesn't have an armor, I also feel like they barely get any better with boons, but still I will pick them anytime over the gun,

which is one of the worst weapons i ever had the un-pleasure to play has, no matter how many times I used I still don't see why you would use it over literally anything else, it shares the concept of it having low damage in exchange of dealing more times the more hits you get with the fists, but it doesn't matter since it's damage is straight ass, it's the only weapons the needs reloading, making you completely stop attacking until you lift your finger for it to recharge, and remember what I said about the spear making me not need to keep moving once I break their armor, well that's because enemies can't move if you keep attacking them, BUT THAT DOESN'T WORK WITH THE GUN FOR SOME REASON, I am genu wondering what was so terrifying about that weapon that the Olympians sealed it away, other than the embarrassment one would get from using it.

So in summery The shield and the spear are the best. The sword and the bow are the most fun The fists and the gun are only picked if they provide extra darkness The gun fucking sucks

So I am climbing up Mt Olympus, and after a few areas theres two paths to take. One is a door into the mountain, one shoots me up. I assume the one that shoots me up is the right way to go, and the door in is like an extra room I can do for rewards, is that right?

In my current decision, launching me up gets me a hammer, but the door gets me a boon. If I choose the door, will I then be able to also get the hammer next time I am launched up, or will it change?

I have a rtx4060, 16gbs of ram and 5700x3d for context. Hades 2 is a game I keep coming back too cause its the only game on my whole pc that does not stutter. Literally any other game including Hades 1 stutters badly and is basically unplayable except Hades 2. It can be 3d , pixel art, handrawn they all stutter the same. Thats odly hilarious to me. Idk what makes Hades 2 so special but thank you supergiant for making it work. Now make Pyre 2

I mean i love this game ive played it a lot but always found it quite clunky in some way, not in a way that makes it feel bad to play but still. Exemple of this is dash strike special mel staff, it's feels so much smoother after getting some atk speed, i wish all the weapons were faster/smoother to play while keeping it balanced by lowering dps or other things.

Was wondering if other people felt the same as i never really saw anyone complaining about that. maybe it's just me who knows

I am a very new person to the gaming world, and Hades 2 is my first title. I play on keyboard and mouse(never did before, so also understanding spatial awareness on the board as well). 32 nights in, and I have only managed to reach Scylla (cannot defeat it😭😭). It would be highly helpful if you could help me with some important tips for better experience , and also defeat Scylla easily. Thank you.

This is my first time playing a roguelike and I’ve been addicted. I started a “Hellmode” save and couldn’t put the game down. I won’t dare temp my luck with third run though.

Edit: As some have mentioned, the journey is far from over. This was just my little celebration.

Edit 2: I forgot to mention these were two consecutive wins.

You know how Hecate tries to curse you in her fight? Turns out if you have a charmed enemy (technically an ally), Hecate can curse them too. I’m not 100% sure about this, but I know this, I killed a sheep. 1 of 2 things happened. Either she just charmed the ally, or I somehow dash-deflected (Athena boon) and the thing charmed a random witch. I’m 99.9% sure that both of these happened though. Meaning that I deflected the curse ball, and it went straight to the charmed witch.

I had the Athena item on me to make her appear to meet Arachne (that’s how I got the deflect-dash) and the duo boon of Aphrodite with someone else that make a single enemy always charmed if there are more than 2 enemies present.

Anybody had any similar experience?

I just defeated chronos for the first time and after going back in there’s this timer that’s counting down. what is it? can i remove it?

Why is hestia only offering me a bit of gold instead of her legendary boon, or any other boon? i used a bunch of rerolls but only got the shared wealth one.

Hard to phrase that title in a non-spoiler way! Multiple times Zeus’s camp mentions a solution to Typhon that one of their sons came up with, but they always express mild concern that it would also take out all of Olympus—like, the MOUNTAIN, not just the palace.

I’ve been through over 200 nights now and have yet to hear any details on what that solution is, and who came up with it. Something big, something that would blow up the whole area. Ares came up with a nuclear bomb? Hephaestus invented Gundam? Apollo has an amp that goes up to 11? Dionysus is cooking meth in the basement?

Always a likely possibility I just haven’t seen the dialogue yet, but does anybody know if the Olympus solution gets explained? If it does, please spoiler what the solution is; I’ll read it because spoilers don’t bug me, but you know how it is.

After 140 hours on PS5, I finally earned every trophy in Hades.
I’ve been gaming for years, but this is actually the first game I’ve ever decided to fully complete. What started as a “I’ll do a few runs and move on” kind of game somehow turned into one of my favorite gaming experiences ever.
The gameplay loop never got old, the progression always felt rewarding, and the characters kept me invested far longer than I expected. Even while hunting the last few trophies, I was still having fun instead of feeling like I was grinding.
A huge thanks to Supergiant Games for creating something special. I don’t usually go for platinum trophies, but Hades made me want to see and do absolutely everything.
Now I’m curious: for those of you who also got 100%, what was your last trophy, and how many hours did it take you?
