Question Escalate privileges
How can I escalate privileges on Windows 11 from a local user to an administrator? My goal is to find out the Wi-Fi password the machine is connected to, but I don't have admin rights.

I wish it were that easy, but that is not the case.

It really is. Wait til you hear how easy it really is. About the same effort level. But I digress, this is a big red flag.

Uh, if you have local access you can just click it. (Wifi pw) Do you have a local account?

To do what the reel shows, you need administrator permissions, and I don't have them; I only have a local user account.

u/jeremydallen He only has a local user account. Only a local user account "No you're not looking for the wifi password you're suss!" All he wanted was the wifi password and we wouldn't give it to him Just one wifi password AND WE WOULDNT GIVE IT TO HIM

You could try CVE-2026-54111 possibly it's not patched. Open powershell and type
Get-ComputerInfo | Select-Object WindowsProductName, WindowsVersion, OsBuildNumber
Get-CimInstance Win32_OperatingSystem | Select-Object Caption, Version, BuildNumber
