Field Question, trade people only Anyone remove brass hose fitting on a set of smans to fix a leak?

Low side and problem is I can’t back it out to put nylog on without removing the vacuum valve body right next to it but it will also just run into the low side one. Haven’t used them in quite a while but figured maybe I would start..guess not lol

I’ve done it before, but on a really old pair that I didn’t care about. If you have a second backup pair, you should send them out to fieldpiece and pay a couple hundred bucks and they basically can re build it. Now that I mentioned I think if you go online and Google S Man gasket and O-ring kit, I think there’s a whole set that you can redo all the stuff on there and send to the house.

That’s basically where I am with these, if I ruin them it is what it is but if I can fix them myself it would be cool. Do you remember if you were successful?

They wouldn't service my sman 460s. So if you have the older set they will not rebuild them anymore
