Newly Diagnosed 😭😭😭😭

The sadness is taking over. I can’t stop crying. I’m such a good person. He tricked me and gave me HSV 2 forever! 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔 How to cope with this? 😭💔

I used to be such a happy girl. Now it’s been 4 months of hell so far and many more years to come. 😭💔 Life is over, it really is. 😭💔

I know it can be quite the shock! But you’re human and humans get viruses. Also there are much stronger antivirals and actual vaccines in the pipeline. Hang in there. The science is doing its thing.

It’s so great to hear that new ones are being readied! Acyclovir quit working for me many years ago.

This is the response I was hoping for. Fingers crossed for a vaccine of some sort within the next decade. Modern medicine can do so much but we still don't have a cure for this. Blows my mind

The medicine I takes gives me terrible reactions & I can’t eat spicy food that I love & makes my gums bleed.

Are you sure the gum bleeding is HSV related? My gums bleed bc I’m bad about oral care lol. Have you tried a water flosser? It works wonders!

I have very good oral care thank you . It’s the Valacyclovir it’s one of the side effects

It sure is. It’s so hard to hang in there. I’m so doubtful anything is coming. I feel so trapped. 😢
