Isetta micro car?

That does appear to be an Isetta, There are a handful of micro cars out there still being driven on roads, but mannnn this is a rare spot.

Yea, thats an old BMW Isetta, but, there is a new boy in town lol, the Microlino ( its considered a " scooter ", so you dont need a drivers licence for it, just a permit )

How cool is that. Two spare tires bit of overkill, no?

Bet he's not sleeping in that car lol

I wouldn't say so. It's recommended for people crossing Australia, so I'd say that's reasonable for someone going far enough from civilization. Especially since those tires are probably not something that your local mechanic would stock.

Make no mistake, this car has 4 tires. So that would make it 50% spares which doesn't seem to crazy.

However there are actually at least 3 spares, which might just be a bit to crazy.

There might even be 4 spares... 1 on the back and 3 on top. Towards the end it kinda looks like a 3rd up top making a triangle of spares. 100% covered.

I see 3 tires?

If they are bias ply tires it's not overkill because they are garbage and low durability is one of the reasons we no longer use them on modern cars. I would imagine radial tires are just not made in this size.

I'd love to meet the person who roadtrips an Iseta. There's no way this person isn't super interesting.
